GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
1.1. CONTROLLED AXES
-X-axis: longitudinal table, travel 1500 mm
-Y-axis: cross carriage, disengagement position, travel 350 mm
-Z-axis: vertical movement on grinding wheel column, travel 300 mm
-A-axis: continuous 360-degree rotation
-W-axis: continuous +180-degree/-120-degree grinding wheel head rotation
Axis resolution: 0.001 mm
Axis control with SIEMENS linear motors on X-Y, with TORQUE motor on W
With NUM digital encoders on Z
All axes are directly controlled by Heidenhain linear scales and Heidenhain encoders on circular axes.
Movement control with precision screws on the Z-axis
1.2. WHEEL CONTROL
Adjustable-speed electrospindle, liquid-cooled with a closed-circuit
control unit; complete with a SANDARD 4° 2-output coupling system, bearing lubrication
electrospindle with pressurized grease system.
Centralized lubrication system with linear table units, oil-bath lubrication for rotary axes.
Installed power, excluding accessories: 18V KWA — Power supply: 380V — 50 Hz
Mountable grinding wheel material: Borozan with diameters from 125 mm to 150 mm
1.3. CENTRALIZED SYSTEM for lubricating moving mechanical parts, will operate with integral oil (axes, linear guides, guides, and screws).
1.4. Integral safety enclosure, including internal coolant supply lines and jets for the grinding wheel. Internal lighting with waterproof lamp.
1.5. CONTROL CABINET
Contains the CNC, the power panel for axis control, the general electrical power and protection system, and auxiliary controls. CNC keyboard and control panel on a swivel console.
Power supply: 220/380 V - 50 Hz.
1.6. NUMERICAL CONTROL + COMPUTER
CNC NUM 1050; free-programming, dedicated to the construction and resharpening of tools for mechanical machining; menu-based data entry; linear and circular interpolation with up to 3 simultaneously controlled axes.
Data display on a 19" monitor
Direct programming from the CNC keyboard.
Electronic handwheel for manual axis movements, with 3 resolution scales.
Computer for storing machine parameters and machining programs.
1.7. ACCESSORIES
-1.7.1. Probe (Marpos)
Measuring system for automatic detection of tooth pitches; the system allows data transmission to the CNC for automatic progressive sharpening.
-1.7.2. Customized software
For defining the probing cycle and processing the data received from the measuring system for automatic machining.
-1.7.3. Tailstock
Tailstock with retraction cylinder, movable pedal for release, and joints supplied by you...
-1.7.4. Roller-tool support rests
Two roller-tool support rests on a tapered shank, centered by two mounted tips: one on the workpiece headstock and one on the tailstock.
Note
The steady rests will be made in two parts to adapt the center height to the type of table. Initially, they will be installed on our LA PRORA sharpener. Subsequently, the support base will be replaced with a new base for application on your LIND POWER 1500 machine table.
1.8. CYCLE TIMES (with 125 mm grinding wheels)
The following times refer to a cutter with the following characteristics:
- Flute length: 1200 mm
- External diameter (excluding tools) 230 mm; with tools max. 252 mm
- Core diameter 205 mm
- Number of teeth 10
- Flute 1316.57
Using the following grinding wheel parameters:
- Internal sharpening wheel 1V1 diam. 125, 10 mm band
- External sharpening wheel 1V9 diam. 125, 3 mm band
With the following removal rates: Material:
- Internal removal rate: 0.2 mm in 2 cycles of 0.1 mm
- External removal rate: 0.4 mm in 2 cycles of 0.2 mm for 1 rake
- Internal sharpening time: 32 min.
- External sharpening time: 1 rake: 27 min.
- Time for a possible 2 rake operation in 1 cycle: 13 min.
- Estimated setup time: approximately 10-15 min.
Note
It is understood that any time differences due to different removal rates dictated by different conditions of the milling roller (excessive wear, etc.) or different cutting conditions (unsuitable or clogged grinding wheel, incorrect feed settings, etc.) may affect the times listed above.
2. MACHINE ACCESSORIES
2.1. COOLANT FILTERING SYSTEM, consisting of:
- Coolant collection tank, capacity 200 liters;
- Delivery pump, flow rate 40-601 litres/min; pressure 4-5 bar;
